"Spreading God's Word In Style." Lumont Deshield, also known as JesusGang started as a clothing line in 2015. JesusGang along with his sister, Dominique Deshield came up with unique designs for JesusGang to go on hoodies, t-shirts, jackets, shoes, and hats. JesusGang even made most of his original products himself.

JesusGang quickly expanded into Gospel Rap. The founder and CEO of JesusGang, Lumont always has had love for writing. Lumont often wrote about his upbringing in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Lumont then transferred his life experiences into his music.

​

Lumont has always had a love for Jesus Christ. As his faith grew, so did his passion for making meaningful music. After practicing many months, JesusGang the Artist was born!

In 2015, Lumont was runner-up in WKYS 93.9's "Give Drugs A Bad Rap" contest. He was also selected to Actors Models for Christ Talent Agency.

In 2017,JesusGang released his debut album "The Good Samaritans". His song "Thorns In My Flesh" was featured on Rapzilla. JesusGang was interviewed by Cutthroat TV and performed in front of Bricksquad's Frenchy that same year. JesusGang also released the song and video "With or Without You" with Phil Derihl and Surf Gvng. He ended the year with a bang by performing at the historic Fillmore Theater in Silver Spring, Maryland. He opened up for PnB Rock.

In 2018, JesusGang performed at the late great Tony Redz MLK "I Have A Dream" concert. He also has had the pleasure of being interviewed at WPGC's studio with Tony Redz. JesusGang also performed at Love & HipHop events, Next 2 Rise Atlanta Media Tour, DC's Summer Jam, Seat Pleasant Day, PorchFest DC, and many other events. JesusGang went on to perform at the Fillmore 2 more times while opening up for Lightshow, Rico Nasty, Shy Glizzy, Fat Trel, and more!

Lumont is proud Howard University Alumni. He is a member of the Songs Of Love foundation and its efforts to provide personalized songs for children in hospitals.JesusGang has been featured on Spotify's "New Christian Playlist" 3 times. JesusGang is founder of the tour and record label "Positive Music Takeover". JesusGang had Reality TV Star Jojo Simmons & WHUR's Harold Fisher show up on his tour.

Since 2015, JesusGang has performed at over 200 events that include clubs, churches, concerts, community days, etc. jesusGang has been featured on Rapzilla twice. JesusGang has collaborated with big artists such as Maino, Snoop Dogg, Dee-1, Rockstar JT, Jojo Simmons, Surf Gvng, Lightshow, and more!
